Middle school students will continue to visit the library once per week for a study hall period. Students may also pop into the library during homeroom time or snack to check books out. I will also be visiting middle school students during the mini courses to discuss and teach the following topics:
- Plaigerism
- Citing sources
- Using the Internet to find credible sources
Middle schoolers are also encouraged to participate in the Dorothy Canfield Fisher (DCF) Battle of the Books which will take place in May. Students have until then to read as many of the 2017 DCF books as possible. Students will form teams of four and face of in a Jeopardy like battle in May. There will prizes for the top three teams and an ice cream party for everyone.
